Delete your Bacupnote account

How to delete your account and what happens to your data

This page applies to Bacupnote — the iOS and Android apps and the website at bacupnote.com. Deleting your account is immediate, permanent, and available to every user directly in the product; you do not need to contact us first.

Delete from the mobile app

  1. Open Bacupnote and go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to Delete account.
  3. Confirm with your current password. If you signed up with Google or Apple and have no password, type DELETE to confirm instead.

Delete on the web

  1. Sign in at bacupnote.com/login.
  2. Open Settings and use Delete account, confirming the same way as in the app.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your plans and prepared messages, your trusted recipients and their contact details, your check-in history, your notification logs, and your push tokens. If you have an active paid membership, we cancel it with the payment provider first, so a deleted account can never keep being billed.

What we keep, and for how long

Nothing that identifies you remains in the running Service after deletion. Two narrow exceptions: billing records held by our payment provider are kept only as long as tax and accounting law requires, and short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses from recent requests) expire on their own within days. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Export your data first

Before deleting, you can download a complete copy of your data from Settings on the web (“Download my data”). Deletion cannot be undone, and we cannot recover your data afterwards.

Can’t sign in?

If you can no longer access your account, email [email protected] from the email address the account was registered with and ask for deletion. We verify the request and respond within 30 days.
