Is this an emergency or rescue service?
No. Bacupnote never contacts police, hospitals, embassies, or rescue services, and it does not confirm safety, health, or location. It relays your own word: a check-in can tell the people you chose that you've reported in, and the note you prepared is only attempted when your check-in schedule is missed.
What if I miss a check-in by accident on the road?
You get a gentle reminder first, then a final reminder with a countdown. Your note is only attempted after that countdown passes, so a missed tap or a day without signal never sends anything immediately.
What's a Trip Pass?
A one-time pass for a single trip. Set it before you go — more trusted recipients and extra reminder channels for the duration of the trip. No subscription, nothing to cancel.
Do you store my passport or location?
